Draft Suitability and Draft Performance Test for Cattle
We would also like to inform you about a very special event at the center:
On November 16, 2024, a draft suitability (Zugeignung) and draft performance (Zugleistung) test for cattle will take place in Germany for the first time in over half a century.
With this event, the center would like to make an attempt to bring the working performance of cattle back into focus, to professionalize the work with draft cattle more both domestically and internationally, to determine quality standards and, in the medium and long term, possibly also to achieve greater consideration of working performance in breeding work, especially when it comes to the old three-purpose breeds.
The interested public is explicitly invited to attend as observers. The testing grounds are located on a public road (Im Klosterfeld, 64653 Lorsch) and there will also be various information stands to enrich the day.
The test regulations can be sent on request.
